It is funny to think about if they could go to war, bail out wall street ,and banks that have taken us all for a ride that they could not come up with this money for health care, and decent and affordable housing and jobs. Instead we have greed and because of the class structure in this nation we have been relagated to picking through the garbage dump of our American Dream. These supposedly educated people and elected officials to speak on our behalf and the rip off credit card companies have and will be the demise of all of our financial freedom. Another latest financial myth is that once you are 65 you will retire not so you will have to keep working to pay off the debt incurred while using the credit cards because the other systems were not in place to help people. a word to remember in this while crisis is NO i am not paying for it and i really don't care how it affects my credit score becasue when it is all done we will all have shitty credit scores and to be honest this has been a ploy and scare tactic to use the american people to pay to keep and to earn a good credit score and to put people and keep people in debt forever. I am not for sale anymore!

Hi

One of the things I find most infuriating about the current crisis is the tendency for people in the media to try and blame the people at the bottom of the pile for borrowing money. Therefore someone who possibly didn't even have basic literacy or numeracy is to blame because they were sold a mortgage that they could never afford.

These people will have paid for their mistake by losing their home. The people that designed and sold the flawed system have pocketed enormous bonuses (even if some of them have now been made redundant).
