So maybe then what we should do is quit consuming and take our chances. Since if we continue, the ensuing destruction of the planet will make getting “devoured” by the economic machine turning on us seem like a minor annoyance. Remember, without a healthy-enough planet, there can be NO economy of any sort whatsoever. There cannot even be any survival.
